Stay focused!

Have I ever discussed that I'm a bit all over the place.  My husband is constently telling me to "stay focused Leeanne".  He's so right and that's why I love him.  That being said I have a few all over the place pics of different projects.
started as this $7. Potential right?  My girlfriend looks at me when I bought it and shakes her head.
Cute now, a bit of paint some sanding.  $7 now $65 at the shop.
Now here's the all over the place.  I am a crafty painter at heart so still with a recycle, reuse theme, more of a cutsy crafty thing.
I'm going to teach a class with my painting group in Jan. I belong to the White Mountain Decorative Painting Guild.  Great painters and very inspiring.  I have enjoyed the cutsy decorative painting thing, but I can feel myself moving more toward doing the furniture and repurposing.  Had some more items my camera battery died.  So until next time.  Enjoy!

Sorry I haven't posted

Really sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I will get back in the swing.  Just had to take my craft room apart because of a leaking oil tank.  Found out last week when we just got a full tank of oil.  Anyway getting it back together and probably a blessing.  I needed to rearrange and regroup anyway.  Well hope everyone is well and getting ready to enjoy family for Thanksgiving.  Be back soon with some new cute projects.

Some new/finally finished projects

Before and After pics
The arm of the globe is going to be a paper towel holder (not finished) thought it was more practical then a banana holder.  My husband just slaps his head uuug! HA he loves it!

I wanted to do more to this, but keeping it nice and neutral it's easier to sell. Then the next pic is an old sign my sweet brother in law gave to me (notice the last name). Thank you Chris
Thanks for looking and I'll be back with some new/finally finished projects

Excited about a bunch of things!

First I'm excited to be named in the Flea Market Style Magazine, whooo!  I gave a cute idea for a bumper sticker, but they were all really cute!  Second I had a great yard sale day Sat. in Maine visiting some relatives.
Now I get to clean up everything, but very excited about it.  I wish I could be this excited about cleaning my house.
I'll show the results of some of the project ASAP.
Hubby's surgery went well just recovering now, need to wait on him a bit.
Have a great day!

Have a camera!

My son gave me his camera to use for now and very excited.  I went to visit family in Maine this weekend in the RV with my parents.  The kids met us there and we had a blast!  One of the best parts was that Sean and I set out to find yard sales Sat. morning, we had to free style because we didn't bring the GPS.  Well it started out slow and started pouring, but man I did pretty good.  I'll show some pics soon, but my daughter had to bring them in her car because they wouldn't fit in the RV.  One pit fall to doing it in an RV, but there is always a way.  So pictures to come soon because hubby is getting knee surgery tomorrow and I will have to nurse him for a day or two.

Broken camera

I've really got some great projects and yard sale finds I'd love to show, but my camera is broken.  Had a good day yesterday yardsaling.  Anyway the summer has been wonderful and we've been using our RV for some fun trips.   I wanted to take pics of my RV that I've been slowly decorating to make it feel homey.  The bathroom I put a nice shabby ornate framed mirror up with some canvas ocean pics I've collected.  Then I found an awesome seahorse hook pc. at a yardsale (for $1) that pulled it together.  Need to get out today and get a camera.  Enjoy your day!  Oh today is my Daddy's 69th birthday Unbelievable!  I love my Dad!

Love to decorate with vintage finds- My sunroom

Just love my little easel, I bought it because I loved it, but my grandson does use it and we draw Barney on it all the time.  I've been finding these great red tins, I have my plastic cutlery in one, paper plates, close by for barbecues.

The hanging lamp over the table I made myself.  The shade I found in a wonderful little shed in Canada.  My husband couldn't believe I bought it.  I added beaded trim to the bottom and the light and it was perfect.

The buffet was my aunt's, pieces of veneer were missing on the sides.  I really still wanted it to have a stained wood look, so I painted it orange first then I used a brown over it and gave it a wood grained look.  The doors were damaged so I made cute curtains- to hide things.  The wine rack never ends up with wine in it so I started putting my magazines in there.  I am very practical with my decorating.

I love my D.M. Ferry & Co Seed poster, a treasure of mine.  It hangs over my little wet bar.
I'm enjoying sharing these things, it's like a little journal for me.
