Hello, it's been a while.  Here are some items I got this weekend.  It was slim pick'ns, but found a few things.  I was actually camping in the RV.  We went to my best friends family campground.  They are not just any family, they were like my second family growing up.  It was a wonderful time and I got to visit with a bunch of them. 

My girlfriend and her two kids, we were walking to the creek.

It's a beautiful pc. of land.

My husband and I took a wonderful bike ride, the hills were awful, but it was great.

Oh yes, so like I said I did get a few thing on our way home.  We stopped at a sm. flea market.  We are limited to where we can stop with a 31' RV. 

Have a nice place for those pickets in my kitchen.

Spring Fling Flea market was a success!

Raised about $1254 for the Bedford animal rescue!  It was a gorgeous hot weekend.

Started off our early morning, bunch of hillbillies.

My sister in law Joanna, owner of Second Avenue Consignment.  This is our tent to sell items for the animal rescue.

Our buddy Ernie a consigner in the shop.

John a great guy, helps one of our top consigner's in the shop.  All in all it was a great weekend and oh ya the best part.  Sat. the animal rescue brought a dog named Spud and he was adopted later on that day.  Now that is what the whole thing is all about.

Good afternoon

Hello, Just would like to do a little update today. I'm very busy this week gathering for a flea market.  I work at Second Avenue Consignment in Amherst, NH. So if you are ever this way there are a bunch of excellent consignment stores (Our's being the best) with in spitting distance (pardon the expression).

Well anyway we are having our annual spring fling flea market out on our lawn.  My sister in law and her husband (owners of the store) love animals, they have 3 beautiful labs.  They are my nieces and nephew. 

They have the flea market to raise money for the Bedford Animal Rescue.  It is becoming very popular, I believe this is our 4th.

So I feel better that I've updated, but need to get some more done before my cutie pie Bray wakes up from his nap.

Some cool new pcs. I aquired.  Great Arts & Craft style desk.

A beautiful bureau. Painted it black and came out nice.

This little cabinet was hard to part with.

Been keeping busy, painting, watching Braydon my grandson 2 days a week.  Love it so much! Second time around you realize that this time doesn't come back so you savor it more.  Things will get painted and things will get done, but you don't get these wonderful young years back.

Also trying to get a bedroom decorated downstairs.  Coming out cute so far.

Very lucky...and blessed!



We are very lucky to be able to take our adult children on a wonderful vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.  And fortunate enough that we all get along so great we want to go on vacation together.  We are also taking our 2yr old grandson and my parents are coming, who we also love and enjoy to be on vacation with.  We have always gone on vacation with my parents ever since the kids were little.  Yes we are truly blessed!

Some New Finds

Not exactly new, but was a nice find it was very hard to let go of.  Oh well can't keep everything.

This was a great find.  I used some Howard's restore and it came out really nice.  Beautiful piece!  White would even look better, but if it doesn't need it, I don't need another project.

Just finished this, came out nice.  Great piece for the right person.

These a the next project.  I think they look cool as they are!  There a bit rough, so I'll get some paint on there and.....scuff them up again....not so much this time.

This next piece is one of the coolest things I've found.  Love it.  Would like to paint the edges back white, scuff and put a nice pc. of glass on it.

I'll show the results, going to take some elbow scraping the rust. and the sign is really in there so I can't take it off. : (
